Last updated: 19 October 2026

Effective date: 19 October 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Passiko Labs Private Limited ("Passiko", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN U62011ME2026PTC477024, GSTIN 27AARCP5915B1ZA), with its registered office at 543, Shivaji Nagar Road, Near Old Fire Station, Shivaji Nagar, Nanded, Maharashtra 431602, India.

They apply when you use qrmake at qrmake.co, including the free static QR code generator, dynamic codes, paid plans, and related pages (the "Services"). Your Passiko account is provided at accounts.passiko.com under the Passiko Terms of Service. If those terms and these Terms differ on something specific to qrmake, these Terms apply for qrmake.

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not need a physical or digital signature.

2. Product-specific terms

Some Passiko products may have extra terms. For qrmake, the clauses in sections 8 to 12 below are product-specific. If they conflict with the general Passiko terms, these product-specific terms apply for qrmake.

3. Who can use the Services

  • You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law. The Services are not available to anyone under 18.
  • If you use the Services for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that organisation.
  • You may not use the Services if we have previously suspended or closed your account for breaking these Terms, or if Indian law prohibits you from doing so.

4. Your Passiko account

  • One account, many products. Your Passiko account lets you sign in across our products using an email magic link, Google sign-in, or (when available) a phone OTP. qrmake does not run its own sign-up form.
  • Keep it accurate. Give us correct information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep it secure. Your email inbox, Google account and phone control access to your Passiko account. Keep them secure and do not forward magic links or share OTPs. You are responsible for activity on your account unless it results from our failure to take reasonable security measures.
  • Tell us about problems. If you think someone has accessed your account without permission, email support@passiko.com right away.
  • You may not sell, transfer or share your account.

5. Acceptable use

Please use the Services lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

  1. break any applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules under it;
  2. upload, share or link to content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy, harassing, hateful, misleading, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property, or any other content prohibited by Rule 3(1)(b) of the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021;
  3. create QR codes or links that lead to phishing, malware, scams, or other harmful or illegal destinations;
  4. impersonate any person, or misrepresent your connection with any person or organisation;
  5. upload viruses or harmful code, or try to gain unauthorised access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems;
  6. disrupt, overload or interfere with the Services, or get around any usage limits or security features;
  7. scrape, crawl or copy the Services or their content by automated means, except as allowed by our robots.txt or with our written permission;
  8. reverse-engineer the Services except where the law permits it;
  9. use the Services to send spam or unsolicited messages; or
  10. threaten the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, public order, or friendly relations with foreign states.

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts that break these rules (see section 14).

6. Your content

  • You own your content. Anything you upload or create in the Services (such as QR code destinations) stays yours.
  • Permission you give us. You give Passiko a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, display and transmit your content only as needed to run, secure and improve the Services for you and the people you choose to share it with. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept in backups for a limited time or as required by law.
  • Your responsibility. You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload and that it does not break these Terms or the law.
  • Removing content. We may remove or disable access to content that we reasonably believe breaks these Terms or the law, or when required by a court order or government direction.
  • Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

7. Our intellectual property

The Services, including our software, design, logos, the "Passiko" and "qrmake" names, and content we create, are owned by Passiko or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services in line with these Terms. You may not use our names or logos without our written permission.

If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright or other rights, email legal@passiko.com with details of the work, the content, and your contact information.

8. Free and paid plans

  • Static QR codes on qrmake are free. Dynamic codes have a free allowance and paid plans or one-time purchases. Prices, features and billing period are shown before you pay. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are shown inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. By paying, you also agree to Razorpay's terms. We do not see or store your card details. We will issue a GST invoice; to claim input tax credit, please add your GSTIN before paying.
  • Renewals. Subscriptions renew only if you give explicit consent to an e-mandate set up through Razorpay in line with Reserve Bank of India rules. Monthly and yearly plans cancel in one click. We email you 7 days before each renewal. You can also cancel by emailing billing@passiko.com. Cancellation stops future charges; your plan stays active until the end of the current period unless a refund under section 9 ends it sooner.
  • Codes keep working. Cancelling or an ended plan never stops existing codes from redirecting. Creating and editing may pause when a paid entitlement ends.
  • Price changes. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change for an existing paid plan takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change.
  • If a payment fails or is reversed, we may pause paid features until it is resolved.

9. Refunds

If you are not happy with a paid qrmake plan, you can get a full refund within 14 days of your first payment or of any renewal payment. Use the Request refund button in your account, or email support@passiko.com. We refund to the original payment method through Razorpay.

Event codes. A one-time Event code (₹299) can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase.

Yearly plans. After the first 14 days, if you cancel a yearly plan, we refund the remaining full months, not counting the current month. The amount is yearly price paid ÷ 12 × remaining full months. For example, on a ₹1,999 Pro yearly plan, if you cancel in month 4 of the 12-month period, 8 full months remain, so the refund is floor(₹1,999 × 8 ÷ 12) = ₹1,332.66.

Processing time. Approved refunds normally reach the original payment method within 5–7 working days; the exact time depends on your bank or payment provider.

This does not limit any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Full detail is on our Refund Policy.

10. Code owners must inform their audience

Dynamic codes count scans. Each scan records the time, device type, operating system, browser, and approximate country and city. It does not record IP addresses, cookies or identifiers. If you share a dynamic code, you are responsible for telling the people who scan it that scans are counted (for example in your own privacy notice), and for following the laws that apply to you.

11. Inactive-account cleanup

Dynamic codes do not expire and keep working while they are being scanned. If your account has had no sign-in and no scans on any of its codes for 24 months, and you have never paid for a qrmake plan or Event code, we will email you. If you do not tell us within 30 days that you want to keep it, we may delete that account's dynamic codes and scan data. Printed copies will then stop redirecting. You can download any dynamic code as a static code at any time. Paid Event codes, and any account that has ever paid, are exempt from this cleanup, so a paid Event code's lifetime redirect holds.

12. Account deletion

When you delete your qrmake data or your Passiko account, we delete your dynamic codes and scan data within 30 days. Scanning them during that time shows a "this code is no longer active" page.

13. Acceptable use and disabling codes

We may disable a code that leads to scams, malware, illegal content or other harmful material. Reports go to qrmake.co/report or support@passiko.com.

14. Suspension and termination

  • By you: you can stop using the Services and delete your qrmake data from your account page, or delete your Passiko account by emailing legal@passiko.com from the email address linked to it.
  • By us: we may suspend or close your account, or limit access, if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if needed to protect users or the Services, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first, unless that would be unlawful or create a risk of harm.
  • What happens next: your right to use the Services ends. We will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue survive termination.

15. Changes to the Services

We are a small team and our products evolve. We may add, change or remove features, or stop offering a product. If we stop a product you pay for, we will give you reasonable notice and a pro-rata refund of any prepaid, unused fees, and where possible a way to export your content.

16. Disclaimers

  • The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent allowed by law, we do not promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
  • Third-party sites or links (including QR code destinations created by users) are not controlled by us, and we are not responsible for them.
  • Please keep your own copies of important content; we are not a backup service unless a product says otherwise.

17. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Passiko will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services.
  • Our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) ₹1,000.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including for fraud, or your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

18. Indemnity

You agree to compensate Passiko, its directors and staff for reasonable losses, costs and legal fees arising from third-party claims caused by (a) your content, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party rights. We will tell you about such a claim promptly and let you participate in its defence.

19. Governing law and disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Before going to court, please contact us at legal@passiko.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days.
  • Subject to that, the courts at Nanded, Maharashtra will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services. This does not affect your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 where applicable.

20. Grievance Officer

If you have a complaint about the Services, content on them, or these Terms, contact our Grievance Officer:

  • Name: Akshay Jondhale
  • Designation: Director & CEO (Grievance Officer)
  • Email: legal@passiko.com
  • Address: Passiko Labs Private Limited, 543, Shivaji Nagar Road, Near Old Fire Station, Shivaji Nagar, Nanded, Maharashtra 431602, India

We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within 15 days. We will never take longer than the time allowed by applicable law.

21. Other terms

  • Changes to these Terms: we may update these Terms from time to time. We will show the new "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the product at least 15 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Services after that, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.
  • Whole agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy and any product-specific terms are the whole agreement between you and Passiko about the Services.
  • Severability: if any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • No waiver: if we do not enforce a right immediately, we do not give it up.
  • Assignment: you may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.
  • Events beyond our control: we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, network or provider outages, or government action.
  • Notices: we will send notices to the email linked to your account. You can send notices to legal@passiko.com.
